About Breakthrough Rewritten

Breakthrough Rewritten is a healing-centered advocacy platform reshaping how trauma, coercive control, and recovery are understood—by survivors, families, and the systems that surround them.

Rooted in trauma-informed care and lived experience, Breakthrough Rewritten exists to restore dignity, agency, and narrative power to those impacted by harm. We believe recovery is not about “moving on,” but about being seen, believed, and supported in rewriting one’s story—on one’s own terms.

Our work lives at the intersection of trauma literacy, survivor-centered storytelling, and systems-level advocacy, offering education and resources that are both research-based and deeply human.

Our Mission

Breakthrough Rewritten is Jasmine’s life’s work—a space where trauma-informed education, survivor-centered storytelling, and systems change meet.

Through advocacy, education, and narrative design, we work to:

  • Increase trauma literacy and public understanding

  • Support survivors and families with clarity and compassion

  • Challenge harmful narratives and institutional failures

  • Create pathways toward collective, sustainable healing

This is a place to reclaim language.
A place to rewrite meaning.
A place to begin again—without erasure.

Our Founder

Breakthrough Rewritten was founded by Jasmine Reddington, a Trauma-Informed Care Practitioner trained in evidence-based trauma frameworks that prioritize safety, ethics, and nervous-system-aware practice.

Drawing from both formal training and lived experience, Jasmine designs spaces where survivors and communities can name harm without shame, understand patterns of coercive control, and reconnect with their sense of agency. Her work challenges stigma illuminates institutional betrayal, and centers truth as a pathway to healing.

As a strategic creative and storyteller, Jasmine uses language, design, and lived truth to translate complex trauma dynamics into accessible, compassionate narratives—making the invisible visible and the unspeakable, speakable.

What She Stands For

Breakthrough Rewritten is built on the belief that:

  • Trauma is shaped not only by individual experiences, but by systems, power, and silence

  • Healing requires safety, choice, and informed consent

  • Survivors are not broken—they are responding to harm

  • Storytelling is not exposure; it is reclamation

We do not sensationalize pain. We do not extract stories. We build with care.
